Betty Castillo is American born and raised in New York City. She married a Colombian and has been living in Bogotá for the past 25 years. Betty and her husband raised their two children in Bogotá.

Ever since her early years in Bogotá, Betty has been volunteering in an orphanage. For the past 15 years, she has operated Betty's Place and has hosted hundreds of families who are starting their families through adoption. Betty offers her knowledge and experience as a foreigner living in Colombia, guiding families during these first miraculous days of parenthood. Betty is always available to her guests, and speaks fluent English and Spanish. At Betty’s Place, you will learn what personal service is all about.
