Dearest Betty,

Thank you for hosting us on our recent trip to Colombia! As a parent, there is no one that I feel more comfortable leaving my kids with than you! I am so happy that Kati had a chance to explore her roots, to see the orphanage where she was born, to meet its Foundress, and to share her love with those beautiful kids! We are so grateful for the life lessons that the girls experienced under your care: To see so many people caring for those less fortunate; to see whole families being adopted, and to experience first hand the joys of watching a couple become a family! We felt secure, happy and safe! Your insight, guidance and direction were right on target! The country was lovely and the people are as generous and kind as they've always been. Colombians are a good, kind and faithful people! Your staff is superb! Nielcy's meals are memorable! The food your staff prepared for us was the best of our trip, and we ate at some pretty special places! (Hint for visiting families, get the pancakes, devour the flan and savor the flavors of the Arroz Con Pollo!) Our rooms were spacious, well equipped, and there was always a supply of bottled water. We remember fondly the gorgeous fresh roses that unfolded so beautifully! Our guides enhanced our trip so much! We learned many "life lessons" through the small interactions each day with our guide that you provided, Jorge Rico. These lessons will never be forgotten. Not only did Jorge take such wonderful care of us on our sightseeing trips, but when the girls departed, he stayed with them and got them through every stage of the boarding process. They felt totally comfortable and at ease! Betty, our trip will remain one of the highlights of our lives.
