Dear Betty, We are safely home after a long, delayed flight, but our hearts are still in Colombia! I sent you an email previously, but I cannot tell if it went throught, so I am sending a duplicate. Our family had a wonderful time on our trip. The girls learned so much about their culture, and we all learned a lot about our family. I know this experience has made an incredible impression on them and infused them with a sense of pride about their heritage. They also fell in love with the people they met in Colombia. Betty, my dear, you are now part of our American/Colombia family, and we cannot wait for our next trip to Bogota/Cartegena so we can see you again.
